Look Mum no Hands! a hipster place. But what do you expect from a bike cafe underneath workspace The Trampery in London Fields. I like it. And really, what’s not to like. Awesome food (sausage and avocado sandwich with a side of homemade baked beans, thank you very much), tea in red pots, and communal locks for your bikes. There’s even a range of stunning alpine cycling photo prints for sale.
Perfect for that post-Broadway-market-cup-of-tea, and top place to play hipster bingo (5 x people on their macbook airs, 2 x pugs, 7 x rugged beards, 6 x clearly still drunk from the night before spottings this morning alone).
It’s my favourite brunch spot in the Viccy park village/Broadway Market/Chatsworth Road not-quite-a-triangle. I always opt for the same food: DIY Sausage and avocado sandwich on sourdough with grilled tomatoes, a poached egg and homemade beans on the side. It’s a hearty brunch – and all the goodness you need to get through the day.
You can make a nice clean plate up from their menu, so it’s a great one for going out to with friends.
